Terms of Service

By creating a SubUp account or installing the SubUp Chrome extension, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

SubUp is an analytics and productivity tool for Substack creators. It connects to your Substack account (via the Chrome extension) to surface your activity, performance and creator inspiration inside our app.

SubUp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Substack Inc. Substack is a trademark of Substack Inc.

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your magic-link emails or bookmark token with anyone. We sign you out after periods of inactivity, but you should still log out on shared devices.

You agree not to:

• Use SubUp to violate Substack's terms of service.
• Use SubUp to scrape Substack at industrial scale, spam users, or automate write actions (likes, comments, restacks) at rates that look non-human.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to bypass paywalls.
• Resell or redistribute SubUp data or AI-generated insights.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Pro is billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel anytime; your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds, but if something is genuinely broken, email us — we're reasonable.

We work hard to keep SubUp up but don't guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on third parties (Substack, Anthropic, Supabase, Stripe) whose outages can affect us.

Insights generated by Claude are estimates based on your data. They're meant as creative input, not financial or business advice. Use your own judgment.

SubUp is provided "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to what you've paid us in the prior 12 months.

We may update these terms when product or law changes require it. Material changes are announced via email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
